The Tulip lamp is produced via multi-material 3D printing and designed with lenticular lenses. The modulated surface produces shifting colors when viewed from different angles- an ethereal iridescence inspired by the orange and purple flames of the Prinses Irene tulip variety.
 
Lilly Nguyễn is an industrial and graphic designer based in New York. By day, she is a technician in additive manufacturing at New York University's LaGuardia Studio. Her practice explores the interaction of color and computational approaches to manual processes.
