From the Maker:
This lamp is made out of hammered aluminum, a process which allows for me to explore a texture that reminds me of rock. The holes in the lampshade glow in a mysterious fashion, giving the impression that the object is from outer space. In the dark, the stand of the lamp fades into the background and gives the impression that the piece is floating through the emptiness of space.
 
My name is Anna Keis. I am a furniture design student at the Rhode Island School of Design. My current interests include metalworking and lighting.
