This lamp couples orange ooze with spherical, wirelessly powered LEDs, to explore the unique aesthetic niche of slime. Motors transport the spheres and slime up to a platform, where they intermingle and interact. When power is removed, the spheres drop into the slime basin to await another upward journey.
 
Andrew Laska is a Brooklyn-based engineer, builder, and artist. He enjoys creating objects that blur lines between sculpture, robotics, and domestic decor.
